While they have short and thick legs, silverfish bugs can move quite fast. The origins of their name are said to come from their rapid side-to-side movements, resembling a fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lepisma saccharina bugs <a href=\"https:\/\/fantasticservicesgroup.com.au\/blog\/earwig\/\">are similar in size to the earwig bug<\/a>, however, they differ in colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Where_do_silverfish_live\">Where do silverfish live?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Silverfish prefer dark and humid areas like basements, kitchens, <a href=\"https:\/\/fantasticservicesgroup.com.au\/blog\/bathroom-bugs\/\">bathrooms<\/a> and even attics.
